After three decades of serving humanity, IMI is thrilled to share exciting progress on Imamia Medics International’s (IMI) Dream Project, a transformative initiative through IMI’s wholly owned non-profit subsidiary, IHI. The Dream Project, planned on IMI's 30-acre land in Robbinsville, New Jersey, incorporates a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) including senior housing, assisted living, and memory care facilities as well as urgent care, in-patient rehab/skilled nursing, and medical offices. Upon completion, the Dream Project will be a significant resource to the community, providing countless employment and income-generating opportunities.
Nearly 30 years of steps taken towards fulfilling this dream & long-term vision, first approved by IMI's membership in 1994.This timeline spans from 1994 to December 2024, with construction of the medical office building and urgent care facility expected to start in late 2025 and continue into 2026.
Continuous Care Retirement Community (CCRC) is a community where a person can go ‘Age in Place'. Age in place refers to the time in an individual’s life when they don’t want to maintain a large house and may want to move to a community with people of their age group, with whom they can share time and socialize.
The idea of the CCRC is to provide every service on-site for the senior residents living on this campus, ensuring a full continuum of care on-site to provide peace of mind – knowing a helping hand is always close by if you need it.
This campus shall incorporate facilities with various levels of medical care incorporated--for seniors who are independent, need some assistance, or require more TLC through Assisted Living programs, Memory Care programs, Nursing homes, or Hospice facilities. For those recovering from more serious injuries, a Transitional Skilled Nursing facility is also planned on-site. The community will include a Clubhouse and rental spaces that will ensure a range of amenities and activities on campus. It will also be peppered with walking areas. Many pedestrian-friendly walkways and ample outdoor seating and gazebos throughout the Campus are planned.
Some details are as follows of these facilities:
These apartment-style luxury condos in our Senior Living facilities shall be suitable for active adults, who have downsized and would like to be free of many household chores. These units will be available for lease and sale.
The Assisted Living Facility is designed for people who need a little additional support with TLC—individuals who need various levels of medical and personal care. The facility can have single rooms or rooms for two individuals. Each of the rooms shall have a full bath in it.
A Memory Care Program will also be offered through a separate section within the Assisted Living Facilities. The program will include assisted living services as well as the following:
It is a special wing within the assisted care facility, dedicated to providing support for those less fortunate.
With great honor, IMI is pleased to name this pavilion after Maulana Syed Tilmiz Hasnain Rizvi as an inspiration for his lifetime dedication and selfless work for the community.
Maulana Tilmiz was a legend in his lifetime, a great scholar, pious Aalim, a shafeeq buzurg, and a selfless soul whose services extended to the North American community and South Asian communities around the world. Maulana Tilmiz was also a great patron of IMI and had participated in many of IMI's programs. He deeply appreciated of the global services of IMI, and especially endorsed and supported IMI’s Dream Project.
The Skilled Nursing facility shall provide care and monitoring after surgeries or procedures to help residents build up their strength to return home (at our senior living or otherwise) or transition to the assisted living facility if continued TLC remains necessary.
This facility shall have 36 patient rooms, nursing stations on every floor and in all units, a Physiotherapy area, a speech therapy area, and other ancillary facilities as needed.
One floor of the Transitional Care/Skilled Nursing facility building will also be used for those requiring heightened monitoring and assistance through a nursing home program and hospice care.
The Clubhouse offers a wide range of modern amenities designed for comfort and leisure, including a community center, fully equipped fitness center, swimming pool, tennis court, a variety of eateries, and premium salons.
Enjoy delicious meals, play a round of tennis, enjoy water aerobics with neighbors, or mingle with friends and family.
The proposed facilities include a diverse range of thoughtfully designed spaces—bringing life-enriching activities, healthcare services, and business conveniences right to your doorstep.
The Dream Project is more than just a retirement community—it’s a comprehensive, future-focused vision of compassionate care, community connection, and sustainable development. From healthcare and senior living to professional spaces and leisure facilities, every element is designed to enhance lives while supporting IMI’s global mission. With your support, we can bring this vision to life and create a lasting legacy of service, dignity, and care for generations to come.
The dream project is not just the dream of the IMI; it's a dream for the whole community.
I find it truly inspiring to hear the comments made by all the organization's leaders. Their forward-thinking approach shows our commitment to creating something meaningful that will make a lasting impact. I'm genuinely proud to be part of this journey.
